I’m taking photo of royal wedding preparation mayhem around Parliament Square at the moment. Who wants to see the pics when I get home?
Hey there, thanks for your ask! My favourite restaurants in London are Les Trois Garcons, Quo Vadis, and The Ivy, which are all high-end places you’ll need to well in advance at. Other must-eats are Patisserie Valerie, Maison Bertaux, Frankie & Benny’s, and L’Antipasto, all these are much more affordable and don’t need booking in advance. I haven’t been to any of the Ramsay restaurants you mentioned – actually things are tight at the moment so I’m unlikely to do much ‘fine dining’ for the foreseeable. Please do look through the other posts on London Life where you’ll find almost everything you need to help make your stay in London fantastic. And, as a memento of your trip, click here to order my newly released London Life photo book?
Have any of you guys had a tonsillectomy?
I had my tonsils out last Thursday, and I’ve been in pain ever since. It’s a great way to lose weight, as first of all the pain of swallowing is so great it’s really putting me off trying, and secondly, I know that when I eat, I’m also swallowing the disgusting, decaying scabs at the back of my throat which are making my breath smell like garlic eggs.
Since I’m home all day, all week, and into next week, would love to hear your stories of tonsil horror too?
